CFO (APAC) & Country Manager (SG)
Ivy Lai started her current role as Country Manager in July 2017 and is responsible for overseeing Philips Singapore’s transformation strategy from a consumer electronics company to being a leader in health technology.
Ivy also continues to double-hat as the regional Chief Financial Officer at Philips ASEAN Pacific, a role in which she started in January 2016.
She joined Philips in 2001 as the Regional Controller for the Audio business in Asia Pacific, Middle East and South Africa (APMEA), based in Singapore, before progressing to become the Global Controller for the Multimedia Flat Displays (Monitors and Flat Televisions) business in 2004, based in Taiwan.
She returned to Singapore in 2007 to take on the role of Chief Financial Officer for Consumer Electronics, APMEA, before relocating to Shanghai to become the Head of Finance for Philips Consumer Lifestyle, Greater China in 2008. After her stint in Shanghai, she returned to Singapore and joined the Emerging Markets Cluster as Head of Finance.
Ivy accepted a second assignment in Shanghai in 2012 as the CFO for Philips Greater China, where she was integral in implementing the new Finance Operating Model to increase the overall efficiency of the function.
Kemmy Tan is the CEO of M+S. She leads the business and operation of Marina One and DUO, two premier integrated developments with a gross development value of over S$11 billion, that were successfully completed in 2017.
Prior to joining the group, Kemmy was the CEO of YTL Land and Development Bhd where she helmed the group’s international luxury property portfolio which included key markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan. She also served as Alternate Director on the YTL Starhill Global Reit Management Board.
Kemmy has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, having previously held positions such as General Manager of Sentosa Cove — Singapore’s pioneer and only integrated marina residential development. She spearheaded the marketing and estate management of the 117 hectares project, achieving S$5 billion turnover in three years.
She has also held senior marketing and business positions in several other listed property entities such as Tuan Sing Holding and CapitaLand.
Managing Director, Global Client Experience
Amanda Goh is focused on growth and innovation for leaders, teams and relationships across major clients in APAC. She’s a senior advisor on corporate and public affairs, executive training, digital strategy, and crisis and risk management.
A 15-year Edelman veteran, Amanda brings two decades of global consulting experience and has lived in Singapore, New York, Australia, and London. She has held a variety of leadership roles as Practice Head, Global and Client Management.
For the last six years, Amanda served as CEO for Edelman in Singapore and led the transformation of the business to a communications marketing advisory with strategic planning, data and analytics, creative, brand and digital at its core. Her previous tenures include Senior Vice President for major clients Samsung, Johnson & Johnson and WestRock and was based in New York for four years.
In New York, she led multi market client programming spanning Europe, Brazil and North America, with a focus on C-suite advisory, B2B marketing and emerging market entry communications. At the start of her career with Edelman, she was Head of Corporate Reputation and Financial Communications across Southeast Asia. She was initially recruited to lead two of the agency’s largest Asia Pacific relationships — Microsoft and Samsung.
Prior to joining Edelman, Amanda was a senior consultant based in Singapore and London with Havas Advertising/Grayling and Porter Novelli where she was responsible for regional integrated marketing campaigns for major clients HP, Mars and British Airways.
Amanda’s an International Women Forum Leadership Fellow 2016/2017 and currently serves on its global communication steering committee. She also sits on the Board of Special Olympics Asia Pacific.
She’s a frequent speaker at industry events with a focus on topics like corporate issues, brand reputation management, diversity and women in leadership. She was named 2015 Women in Watch by Campaign Asia and has served as a judge on industry creative and marketing awards like PR Awards, Spikes Asia and Festival of Media.

Melinda Petrunoff has 20 years pf digital marketing experience specialising in DR/performance marketing.
Melinda’s APAC Gaming team are experts in the industry. They work with marketers and publishers to drive business results across Facebook, Instagram & Audience Network.
Prior to joining Facebook in 2013, Melinda held a number of senior roles at Fairfax Digital (Australia’s leading digital publisher), where she led commercial teams to monetize many businesses including The Sydney Morning Herald and Domain. She began her career working for nimble digital start-ups like Shopfast.com.au.
Melinda serves on the board of one of Australia’s well-known charities, OzHarvest. Previously, Melinda has been part of the Salvation Army’s Australian Media Advisory Board and the Vine.com.au board.

Tay Bee Kheng is a 20 year+ veteran in the IT industry. With a sales-focused career with experience across Asia-Pacific and Japan, she is currently the Managing Director at Cisco for Singapore and Brunei.
She was Vice President and General Manager at HP Software Asia Pacific and Japan, responsible for driving revenue success and aligning countries and multi-disciplined teams to overall worldwide and region strategy.
Prior to this promotion, she was the Director of Field Sales and Business Operations at HP Software APJ and also served as the Director and Country general manager of HP Software South-East Asia.
Bee Kheng has an extensive, multi-faceted and proven leadership background in sales, partners and alliances, sales operations, enablement, manufacturing industry vertical, finance and marketing.
In HP’s 2012 Make It Better (MIB) global initiative, she was a key team driver in meeting and exceeding APJ commitments to worldwide saving guidance. Before joining HP, Bee Kheng spent five years at IBM.

Wendy Walker brings more than 20 years of marketing experience spanning a variety of industries and covering all disciplines.
As Head of Marketing for Intuit’s Global Expansion portfolio of 185 markets, she is accountable for leading the brand and marketing efforts for expansion and growth into new global markets across multiple regions.
Prior to joining Intuit, Wendy consulted at iflix as Global Director Brand & Content, where she led the development of the brand strategy and execution to drive growth across new markets globally.
Wendy also previously held regional positions as Chief Marketing Officer at Manulife, and Mindshare’s Chief Growth Officer for Asia Pacific.
Passionate about creativity and effectiveness, she has devoted much of her career to building, growing, refreshing and transforming brands — from household names to start ups; and is known for her ability to drive creative effectiveness combined with operational excellence and strong commercial results.
Wendy regularly participates as a a jury member across many industry award programs, and also frequently contributes as chair or speaker at major advertising industry events.
She was named as Most Influential Global Brand Leader in 2016 and 2017, and as one of the Top 100 Most Talented Global Marketing Leaders by the World Marketing Congress in both 2014 and 2015.
She has held several board positions over the years and is currently a Non-Executive Director for Kaplan Higher Education Industry Advisory Board for Marketing, Media, Communications & Public Relations.

Strategic Marketing Veteran
Christina Oliver recently returned to Singapore from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
She joined Al-Futtaim as Regional Head of Marketing at Al Futtaim Electronics. During her time there, she was managing a portfolio of electronic brands that have a contractual partnership with the company. This role required expertise in B2B, Channel Marketing, B2C, and managing brand relationships.
After rebranding and relaunching Al-Futtaim’s own label brand, AFTRON, successfully (where the brand saw a sales revenue increase by 22% year-on-year), Christina went on to Robinsons Department Store to take on the role of Regional Head of Marketing. There she planned and drove strategic marketing platforms to support the UAE store directly after its launch, as well as to develop the brand positioning and strategy for Robinsons department store at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Christina has over 18 years of extensive international experience in strategic brand marketing, marketing strategy & implementation, retail service strategies and NPS implementation.
Passionate about brand marketing, she has held various managerial roles within some of the world’s leading retailers.
Starting her career as the Marketing Coordinator at Viacom Media (UK). She later took on therole of Marketing Manager at Ford Motor Co. (UK) and was instrumental in implementing corporate campaigns from HQ into a regional context.
Furthering her retail marketing experience, she joined ASDA (Wal-Mart) UK, the giant supermarket chain.Previous to joining Al-Futtaim, Christina served as the Director of Marketing at COURTS, Southeast Asia’s largest electronics and home furnishings retailer. Head quartered in Singapore, this 11-year-old career was the spearhead of her experience in refining her senior leadership in marketing, commercial responsibility and managerial skills.
Christina has an energetic personality, coupled with an appetite for a dynamic commercial environment. She has succeeded in building relationships with high level external brand partners, many of whom are from different cultures; and she has a proven ability to lead marketing teams, marketing strategy and campaigns during times of strategic business change.

Before joining The Vintage Club as a Private Sales Director, Stephanie Rigourd was the Wine Director at Raffles Hotel Singapore for the past 3 years. She was previously a Sommelier Consultant at Hilton & Conrad, covering Singapore and Indonesia.
Stephanie nourishes her passion and wine knowledge with annual pilgrimages to vineyards of both new and old world, visiting hundreds of wineries and making wine. It is by this total immersion that she brings the life and joy of wine to share with people everywhere.
She created “The Wine Apprentice”, where unique blind wine tastings allows both wine connoisseurs as well as beginners to enjoy wine and learn through a full sensory exploration.
Stephanie believes in truly experiencing wine, away from the “yayapapaya” — aloofness often associated with wine.
CEO & Co-founder
It all started 14 years ago when Violet saw a business opportunity in the competitive world where the lives of busy professionals revolve around work and the boardroom. Further observation of her family, friends and colleagues who complained about having little time for love due to their busy schedules convinced Violet even more and led her to set up her own matchmaking company called Lunch Actually in 2004 with her then fiancé, now husband Mr Jamie Lee.
Today, Lunch Actually is Asia’s biggest premier lunch dating company with offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Jakarta, and Bangkok. Together with Jamie, Violet also founded esync to fill the gap in the market for trusted online and offline dating service platforms, LunchClick, the dating app for serious singles to help them meet offline as soon as possible, as well as Lunch Actually Academy, the date coaching service to maximize singles’ dating success.
Her most recent venture is Viola.AI – the world’s first blockchain-powered lifelong love AI to help singles and couples across their relationship stages. The first Asian to be certified by the Matchmaking Institute in New York City, Violet has gained tremendous insight into the dating and matchmaking industry and is the pioneer in her field. She has appeared in over 4000 media coverages in top local and international media such as FOX, Forbes, CNN, BBC, Bloomberg, Mashable, The Straits Times, ABC News 20|20, CNBC Asia and Radio Australia.
On top of her role as CEO and spokesperson of Viola.AI and Lunch Actually Group, Violet is serving as a Chapter President of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Singapore. She’s also a Winner at Women Entrepreneur Award 2017 in Singapore; an established award that recognises her for her achievement in demonstrating outstanding entrepreneurial qualities. She also sits on the board of Matchmaking Institute and is the Executive Director and the Principal Trainer of Matchmaking Institute of South East Asia where she trains matchmakers and aspiring matchmakers from all around Asia. She is a past President at the Rotary Club of Suntec City and a current Committee Member of Shirin Fodzar.
Violet is happily married to her university sweetheart cum business partner Jamie, and they have two young children, Corum and Cara. Aivonne Chong left the advertising industry after spending more than 10 years at big agencies like DDB, TBWA and Ogilvy. During her time there, she worked with big brands like ExxonMobil, StarHub, Philips, Standard Chartered, Kimberly Clark, and IBM.
In early 2016, she decided to take the plunge to join the world of entrepreneurship and founded Brown Bag Wines. She started her company with the honest intention of making clean and expressive wines accessible to people who believe in living consciously and beautifully.
Aivonne works with a small, trusted group of wine growers who share the same vision. She works closely with them to make wine using pure and minimalistic methods.
Lead, Product Partnerships
Monisha Varadan represents the Product Partnerships team at Google and is responsible for building partnerships that enable the roll out of modern web technologies in APAC.
Monisha joined Google five years ago and has since been navigating the cross over between Product and Partnerships supporting teams like Search, Assistant, Chrome and Web to build and launch magical yet relevant products for Asia.
Monisha mentors at GASEA — a German Accelerator in SEA — and Google for Entrepreneurs. She is also part of Women@Google, setting up programs like Transition Circles to help returning mothers readjust to work.
Prior to Google, Monisha completed her MBA at INSEAD in 2010 and started Zephyr Ventures in 2013 to invest in growth businesses.
Monisha began her career as a journalist in India between 1996 – 2001 for The Hindu and as a newsreader for a national network, where she served as a producer for a tech channel.
Chief Marketing Officer
Manisha Seewal is the Regional Chief Marketing Officer of Automotive marketplace Carro. Prior to the move, she was the head of marketing at Tokio Marine Life Insurance Singapore. She oversees the marketing function for Carro in Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand and is a key member of Carro’s leadership team.
Manisha started her career in Singapore in 2003 at ZenithOptimedia as a research analyst for Nokia (regional) and Asia Pacific Breweries (Singapore). After moving to the client side in 2005, she joined the marketing teams of leading insurers such as Great Eastern, HSBC Insurance and Aviva.
Manisha has been a judge at Marketing Excellence Awards Singapore for 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 and regularly participates at key industry events. She was listed amongst one of Asia’s Most Influential CMOs and Most influential Brand Leaders by World Brand Congress in 2016 and 2015 respectively. She also received Women Leadership Excellence Award by CMO Asia in 2016 and was listed amongst top 50 Women leaders in Asia in 2017.
Head of APAC
Aliza Knox leads Cloudflare, an internet security, performance, and reliability provider in the APAC region. Previously the Head of Twitter (APAC), she joined the digital enterprise after building a significant business for Google (APAC). Aliza sits on the board of listed company Scentre Group (Westfield Shopping Malls, Australia/NZ).
She recently retired from the boards of SingPost (mail and e-commerce, Singapore), GfK (#5 global market research firm, Germany) and from her role as an advisor to the ANZ Bank Board Technology Committee.
She was also previously a director of InvoCare (Australia). She led SWAT (Super Women at Twitter) and did the same for Women@Google. She has served on two key committees for the Singapore government, and was invited to address the Singapore Institute of Directors on why gender diversity is important to boards, as well as on globalization.
She was named the AWA Singapore International Business Woman of the Year in 2015, elected as the Chief Executive Women (Australia) in 2016, and featured in the 2018 book, “Women on Board: Making a Real Difference”.
Aliza has significant financial services and international experience. Prior roles include SVP and SVP International, Commercial Solutions, Visa International, Charles Schwab; and Partner and Head of Financial Services at Boston Consulting Group in Sydney and Singapore.

Serene Goh believes in the power of storytelling, and works with business across sectors to shape their narratives. As its founding editor, she led The Straits Times young reader department to global awards over a 12-year tenure. She then moved to head Singapore Press Holdings’ Content Lab, the media giant’s dynamic content marketing team.
